Microsoft has recently released a new Xbox Update preview 2408.240306-2200 update to the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring. The update introduces a new feature to Capture and Share and improves the Xbox Wireless Controllers.
The new Alpha Skip-Ahead update brings improvements to the Xbox Wireless Controller and Capture & Share
The recent update includes a new Xbox Wireless Controller firmware version that aims to fix unexpected disconnections when using a wired headset. With the Alpha Skip-Ahead 2408.240306-2200 update, you will notice some improvements in the gameplay experience if you faced issues earlier.
If your controller requires an update, you’ll see a prompt to install it. It will only happen when a powered-on controller connects to your gaming console. If you missed or accidentally dismissed the prompt, you can open the Xbox Accessories app to update the firmware manually.
Apart from improving Wireless Controllers, the Alpha Skip-Ahead 2408.240306-2200 update adds a new change to Capture & Share. If you’re running low on space, you’ll see a toast notification after uploading a new game clip or screenshot to OneDrive.
Moreover, the update also fixes an issue where odd texts appear on your Xbox Home Dashboard. Microsoft says that the odd-shaped text is commonly called “pseudo-loc” or text that is yet to get localized for the specific language/region.
Are you an Xbox Insider and noticing any problems with the new Alpha Skip-Ahead 2408.240306-2200 update? If yes, Microsoft asks to report the problem to address it in the next update.
