Copilot Pro GPT-5 Turbo typo

Microsoft just announced that they included GPT-4 Turbo in the free version of Copilot, so we could only assume that Copilot Pro users will get something better, right?

That’s when a user on X posted a screenshot of the Copilot subscription page showing that Copilot Pro is featuring the GPT-5 Turbo LLM. And that seems off right from the start.

That is because GPT-5 is still far off in development, let alone its alleged Turbo version.

But then, Microsoft’s Mikhail Parakhin commented on this post saying that it’s a typo and they meant GPT-V, and the V is for vision. This, at first, makes sense because GPT-V is the image analyzing component.

However, the mystery is so much easy to solve if you simply click on the subscription button.

On this page, you will see that indeed, there was a typo, but they meant to write GPT-4 Turbo, not GPT-5 Turbo.

With this, we can all return to our regular activities because there’s nothing to see here. However, Microsoft didn’t bother to fix the mistype even hours after it was spotted. This might wrongfully convince people to make a subscription based on the GPT-5 Turbo offering, and it’s really not okay.

By the way, did you make a Copilot Pro subscription because of this? Let us know in the comments section below.
